신 수행주의

신 수행주의는 명상과 예언의 삶의 다양한 표현을 포함하여 특정 종파나 교회에 한정되지 않는 다양한 운동이다. 여기에는 셰인 클레이본의 "간단한 방법 주민"과 조나단 윌슨-헛그로브의 "루트바 집"과 같은 복음주의 기독교 공동체, 버나데트 플래너건에 의해 형성된 것과 같은 유럽과 아일랜드 신 수행주의 공동체, 여성 명상 신학자 비벌리 라젠타에 의해 설립된 "새 수도주의 방법의 주민"과 같은 비전통적 영적 공동체, 로리 맥켄티와 아담 벅코에 의해 개발된 것과 같은 "상호정신" 신 수행주의를 포함한다. 이 주민들은 "세계의" 현대 생활에서 살 수 있는 형태로 변환하여, 전통적인 수도원 지혜에서 확장한다.
